Today is the first game of the football season so everyone's really pumped. I'm REALLY excited except I'm worried that we'll lose. We haven't had a lot of good luck in the past seasons but (hopefully!) this season will be different.
I'm marching during half time (I hope I do okay!) and so I have to be there at six. Needless to say, I've got butterflies in my stomach, I hope I don't mess up!
The pep rally was really fun today. Unfortunatly we (the Freshmen) are not only the quietest class but we're the smallest class too! I guess I'm going to have to refine my yelling ablities. Any tips?

I also can play the baritone, the instrument I play in band, exceptionally well, if I do say so myself => I can also play the trumpet, valve trombone and the piano. Did I say that am WAY in to music?

Just so everyone knows, WE WON! I was so suprised especially since we beat Globe by 40 points! I'm still in denial a little :)
I know how you feel! This year we're wearing maroon and white Where's Waldo shirts for the game! There's so horrible (and they work! I was looking for one of my friends and I couldn't find her because she blended in with everyone!) Needless to say they are UGLY! (And long-sleeved!) We also have to wear ugly grey coveralls. (FYI this is for games, we wear something else for Band Day.) I guess part of the marching band experience is ugly uniforms. I just wish they didn't have to be hot ones too!
